It seemed to me that the MXP code in IB was "MXPP" only briefly. This* source says the MXP code is now "6M". That is also the code that works for me now. Perhaps someone else can confirm if my observation is correct?

Yes, I confirm that it's changed also to '6M' in TWS application.
